A day off we really needed after three concerts in a row. We had an epic trip out to look for whales and fortunately saw two fin whales feeding. After that treat we went to see the puffins and Murres and gulls of different varieties.
it started out as a beautiful sunny day and was quite calm on the sea. On our way back in a storm caught up with us and pelted us with hail, wind and rain. It actually made it even a better trip.
We ended off singing to the other passenger. We sang the Irish Blessing.
Then it was off to Cape Spears the farther east easterly point of land in North America. It was miserable weather by that point but most of us braved a walk about or a climb to the lighthouse. We returned to the hotel for some free time. We are off to do our last concert in Freshwater tomorrow.
