Depart St. John's
I want to take some time to discuss Air Canada. To say the least they have not treated several of our travellers very well. One of the CCC who paid for a ticket in September, 9 months prior to the trip, was put on stand by coming here and just told she is on stand by again. She was told yesterday that she may have to pay an extra fee because the ticket price has been raised. She bought a ticket nine months ago and is being treated like crap.
Several people paid for special seats and did not get them. Two couples were split up in different areas after buying special seats.
If at all possible check out other airlines.

It was difficult to say goodbye to Marion at the airport in St Johns. There were more tears. The Irish Friendship Wish Video was sent to her via Facebook Messenger before we left, and Marion was very touched that we did that.
The flight was smooth, but leaving the airport was somewhat delayed as Wendy and Mary encountered the Tim Horton’s staff from Hell. Though not all that busy, the staff took almost 25 minutes to prepare the two breakfast wraps that were ordered. Luckily, the bus waited for them to board
Our Polish bus driver told us a bit of his life story once we were all on the bus and then urged us to pray before setting off in his bus for London. That was a bit unnerving. We hoped that he was very religious, rather than being a very bed bus driver. It turned out that he was actually a nice man and a very competent driver, but he didn’t pick up on the fact that we were tired and needed some quiet time. He tried to get us to watch a Mama Mia video, and offered others. When we told him “no thanks”, he then turned on jazzy music. He was just trying to be gracious and turned it off when told that we really didn’t want to hear it.
We made it back to London by 10:30 p.m., and after many hugs said goodbye to each other and went home. It was a very successful tour, and I think that we all felt like we had sung well and had put on five excellent performances.
